So what happens when you are owling, and there are no owls
Saturday, February 20, 2010 at 06:12PM On a recent trip with the Nature group of the RA Photo Club to Amherst Island in the St. Lawrence we drove 2.5 hours each way to visit Owl woods. Except there were very few owls, most of us could find only one. And the light was flat with low clouds, and snow flurries. Not the best shooting conditions for anything, let alone nature shots.
So you shoot what is available, and that means local features and lots of details. Not what I was looking for, but no complaints.
